Who is it for?
This Guide is intended for all employees of the Thales Group.

When should I use it?
Refer to it whenever you want to find out more about career options and professional mobility, but particularly in preparation for your Professional Development Discussion.

What does it contain?
It reviews the Group's 62 job families, which are organised into 15 generic job categories. A brief introduction describes the role of each generic job category. For each job family, the Guide describes a selection of typical posts and gives the associated scale of responsibility levels for each one. There are, of course, many other posts in each job family.
The Access section lists the skills and experience needed to enter the job family. This is followed by a selection of related training courses available at the Thales Université.
The final section lists the other job families open to people with experience in the current one. The Guide is illustrated throughout by personal accounts from staff members who have made mobility work for them.
