Playing a central role in the relationship between the company and its employees, the Human Resources (HR) function operates in a constantly changing context. To meet these challenges, anticipation and innovation are essential. The scope of the HR function now extends beyond the management of human resources to include organisation and strategy. Human resources staff must develop a "management partner" approach and remain constantly aware of the economic context and the company's future development. To take account of changing operational data (Group reorganisation, acquisitions and disposals, growing international dimension, increasing cultural diversity, flexible working hours, matrix organisations, etc.), facilitate management-employee relations and ensure employee satisfaction, the Human Resources function plays a coaching and consulting role for management, and, for all employees, upholds THALES' core values and the ground rules of people management that the Group has laid down. Human Resources management now plays a central role in operations, but the success of this process of change, which is crucial to the future of the Group, is more than ever a responsibility shared by everyone.
HR Generalists lead technical teams dedicated to three distinct fields: professional development (employment, mobility, training), employee relations (management-staff relations, legal) and compensation, benefits and payroll.
