Over the years, and through many programs, we have developed a key strength in complex systems integration on a wide range of platforms for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Our advanced products and expertise in system integration combined with our ability to partner with large, medium and small companies the Canadian defense industrial sector has been the key to our Tier 1 success to-date and has positioned us as one of Canada's systems integrators of choice.

We are the prime contractor for the Land Command Support Systems (LCSS) providing long-term software design, development and integration support of the Army's core command and control system. Thales Canada is also a key parter in DND's development of future joint systems. Through our strength in innovation, we are providing world-class Counter IED systems. Further; as an industry leader in uncooled optronics technology, we are very proud to have our Canadian developed thermal imaging and vision enhancement solutions as the preferred solution of the Canadian Army since the mid-90's. Our optronic equipment is also used by NATO and allied forces to improve their operational capabilities at night or in adverse weather and obscured battlefield conditions.

Thales Canada has supplied the Canadian Navy with world class sensor suites since the late 1960's and was the mission system integrator for the Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel. Today, we are a key sensor supplier for the Halifax Class Modernization. In addition, we provide in-service support for critical combat systems equipment for the Victoria Class Submarines. As a partner with Seaspan, we are one of the lead systems integrators for the Navy's future programs. recently we were awarded the Interdeparmental Maritime Intergrated Command, Control and Communications (IMIC3) contract.

For the Air Force, we are a communications integrator, and a key supplier of radar and landing sytems. Our defining success was being awarded the prime contractor role for the CP140 maritime patrol aircraft communications and management system, and the delivery of the combined CMS and navigation and flight instruments upgrade (Block II). Recently we have become the prime contractor for the Tactical Control Radar, challenging our team to bring together disparate systems into a cohesive and fully integrated, seamless package involving communications, C2, datalink, and sensors. Our integration skills and customer focus have resulted in delivering world class solutions to the Air Force.
