In Spain it has Thales Alenia Space España, a Spanish company founded in 1988, devoted to the development and supply of Space systems and equipment for civil and military programs with application in telecommunications, navigation, Earth observation, science, exploration, space transportation and infrastructure.

At its site in Trés Cantos (Madrid), has means for technological and industrial development, manufacturing and testing for equipment and space systems, including 1650 m2 of clean rooms. Among its capabilities and experience include the radio frequency engineering, digital electronics, and telecommunications and observation systems.
