Paris - Thales announces the opening of a new Customer Service Support Centre in the United Arab Emirates for Air Systems solutions. The newly born Support Centre consolidates Thales local presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as in Egypt, Iran, Pakistan and Yemen. As a major economic and business centre in the region, Dubai, and more precisely the Jebel Ali Free Zone has been chosen to ‘host' the Support Centre. To further enhance the quality of service for Thales customers, engineers from this centre will be permanently based in Egypt and Kuwait.
Designed with one of Thales' core values, customer satisfaction, the Support Centre will provide maintenance services: technical assistance, spare parts and repairs management. The Support Centre aims to provide assistance to both civil and military customers in the region where Thales Air Systems has a large installed base. This includes weapon systems, ground and naval radars, civil air traffic control centres and radars.
Rémi Gille, Vice-President Thales Air Systems said: "The proximity of the Support Centre with our customers is the opportunity for Customer Service to strengthen our historical presence in the region."
This creation demonstrates Thales' commitment to maintain close links with its customers and the markets in which it operates.
