What is Thales Academia?

Thales Academia is a comprehensive support package for highly-qualified overseas graduate students wishing to study in France. The programme was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thales Group, and a formal agreement was signed on 15 May 2006 by France's foreign minister Philippe Douste-Blazy and Thales Chairman and CEO Denis Ranque. Students from China and India will be arriving in France in time for the start of the 2006-2007 academic year to take part in the first year of the scholarship programme.

The partner schools – several members of the ParisTech group of engineering schools, including Ecole des Mines de Paris, TELECOM ParisTech, Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole Centrale Paris and ENSIETA, the HEC and ESSEC business schools, and The University Paris-Dauphine – have undertaken to provide the students with top-quality teaching and services.
