TXM5500 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) voice communications switch
The TXM5500 was originally developed to meet the needs of a secure military communications system, but has since been enhanced to include the specific features required for air traffic control voice communications. The TXM5500 is in service, and is in current production. The system was designed in accordance with EUROCONTROL safety requirements (ESARR).

EVCS Emergency Voice Communications Switch
The Emergency Voice Communications Switching System (EVCS) is intended as a back-up for the main VCS at a major installation, or as a stand-alone VCS at a smaller installation. The system includes management of main and standby radios, as normally required for ATC applications.
HF system capability for regional & domestic air route area (RDARA), as well as major world air route area (MWARA)coverage
The intelligent squelch system is intended for major HF facilities (MWARA, RDARA) which continuously monitor multiple HF frequencies. The Thales intelligent squelch uses digital signal processing (DSP) to specifically recognise speech characteristics in the presence of HF interference.
