Co-flight is a strategic system to be deployed by three major European ANSP's (DSNA, ENAV and skyguide), currently under development by a Thales / Selex consortium. This presentation will provide an industrial perspective of Co-flight, its key technological and functional features and its importance for the future ATC systems.

  • Understanding of how Co-flight does answer future ATM challenges in Europe
  • Co-flight design and technologies, based a top-down analysis, leading to the choice of new open and modular architecture, allowing flexibility and scalability

The recent contract by the FAA for implementation of ADS-B and broadcast services reinforces the global acceptance and adoption of ADS-B worldwide as the future of surveillance for civil aviation.
