TEAMING FOR SUCCESS
A partnering spirit in our business approach
Be it with our customers, industrial partners or suppliers, we develop partnerships that add value to our customers.
For instance, the Battlespace Transformation Centre provides a unique forum for dialogue with customers and a powerful tool to help them express their requirements. This type of collaborative environment is the key to the Division's approach to solution development.
To ease access to international markets, the Division is pursuing its multidomestic strategy. This strategy proved extremely successful in 2007, leading to major contract wins in Norway (Link 16 tactical datalinks) and Switzerland (land forces command systems).
Thales is also developing international partnerships to penetrate strategic markets. The company entered alliances with Rockwell Collins in software radio for vehicles and Data Link Systems for MIDS-JTRS tactical datalink terminals. Also in 2006, Thales set up a new joint venture with Rolta India Ltd in C4ISR.
