1/10: "I Dream About Space" Event
This event is organised by the General Directorate for Technology, Research and Energy of the Walloon Region and is aimed at 4th, 5th and 6th-year pupils from secondary school pupils in Wallonia and Brussels. For a whole day, the students will have an opportunity to meet Belgian industrialists from the space sector at the Euro Space Center in Redu.
Thales Alenia Space ETCA will be represented in order to explain its business activities, its professions etc., to the students, and to encourage them to study engineering.
3/10: "I Dream About Space" Evening
As a follow-up to the first event, Fred & Jamy of the French television programme ‘C'est pas sorcier' will be providing an evening's entertainment at the Euro Space Center.
This event is also aimed at children and teenagers, and will provide them with information about the space sector in general, and particularly the Belgian space sector.
The Commercial and Programmes Director as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thales Alenia Space ETCA will be interviewed by Fred & Jamy in the course of the evening.

6 & 7/10: Space Days 2008
This event, which also took place in 2006, is organised in association with Walloon industrialists and researchers in order to promote the Walloon space sector. This year, the event will take place in Liège and will be on the topic of microsatellites.
On the programme: a day of meetings between the major players in the sector, both national and international, as well as conferences on microsatellites with, for example, representatives from the ESA and CNES, a competition for secondary school students, etc.
Thales Alenia Space ETCA will naturally take part in the event.

From 8/10: Exhibition "Liège at Space Time"
This exhibition, organised by the city of Liège and by the Community of Ariane towns, will naturally cover the Ariane programme and the involvement of Thales Alenia Space ETCA. This exhibition is free of charge and open to the general public. Location: Saint André Church (Liège).
