VP Finance, Naval Division

Frédéric Tard graduated from the "Ecole Centrale Paris" in 1992 and obtained further qualifications from the I.E.P Paris and the D.E.C.F qualification in 1993 and 1997 respectively.

He began his career as Business Manager, Structured Finance department for 4 years followed by Business Manager, Acquisitions Finance department for 2 years both positions being held within  "Société Générale" Bank.

In 1999, he then went onto hold a post with The Boston Consulting group, Paris as a strategic and organisational consultant, undertaking tasks such as the research, analysis and synthesis and strategic and organisational recommendations for large international companies.

Between 2001 and 2003, he was appointed VP Financing for the ALSTOM subsidiary T&D (Transmission and Distribution) . He was in charge of mergers and acquisitions, project and assets financing, treasurer and relations with financial institutions.

Between 2003 and 2004, Frédéric was Financial Director for the branch Power Transformers (400 million € sales) within AREVA T&D, overseeing 10 operating units financial performance and the implementation of the strategic business Plan.

From 2005 until 2007, he was promoted to the position of VP Finance & Controlling, at AREVA T&D division level, overseeing 4 billion € sales, 150 operating units, 70 legal entities in more than 30 countries and 24,000 employees.

In April 2007, Frédéric was appointed VP Finance for the Naval Division.

He is married with 3 children.
