Guy Baruchel is a graduate from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité and earned a MBA from INSEAD Institute ; in 1975 he entered the General Avionics Division - Thomson-CSF.
His experience in the Thales Group spans thirty years.
After several executive management responsibilities , he became Senior Vice President of Sextant Avionics , in charge of Defense activities .
In 1999, he led the extension of activities of Sextant Avionics into InFlight-Entertainment taking the position of CEO of Thales Avionics InFlight Systems,based in Irvine, California.
In October 2002, Guy Baruchel entered the Naval area as General Manager of Thales Naval France, Bagneux.
Beginning of 2004, his role was extended to France Naval Country Director and VP, Naval Services business line within the Naval Division. As Country Director for Naval activities in France, he oversees all Naval activities in France.
