After a childhood spent outside France, a business school degree and three years in sales, I joined the Group in the Paris region as export sales engineer for military telecommunications.
With my itchy feet, I moved to Thales Avionics in Bordeaux, first in charge of the export service, and then as head of the whole Marketing and Sales Department, France and Export.
In 1990, I got my first taste of Russia, in Nizhni Novgorod, with official meetings held in dachas out on the tundra, as a participant in arduous negotiations, and as an angler for sturgeon and fresh caviar.
After an exciting and enriching time in Marketing and Sales, from export to sales in France, from negotiation to staff management, I've signed up for another stint as expat, and I'm off abroad again.
