Steve Hill is currently the Vice President and Managing Director of Thales Air Systems Division UK, a position he has held since March 2006.

ASD UK comprises of 4 business units; Thales Air Defence Limited, Thales Missile Electronics Limited, Thales Air Operations and Thales Air Traffic Management Limited.  In total these units generate annual revenues in the region of £180m and employ approximately 1,200 people.

Steve joined Thales' Command Information Systems Business Unit (then part of RACAL) in January 2000 as a Projects Director.

Prior to joining Thales, Steve was employed by GEC Marconi's Electro Optical Business.  He joined this business after graduating as an Engineer and progressed through a number of roles in Engineering and Project Management before holding the position of the Business Director of the Land Business Unit.

Steve was born in Bristol (England) in 1965 and graduated with a 1st Class Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Portsmouth University.  Since then he has gained a further degree in Engineering Project Management from Lancaster University.  Steve is also a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director.
