Having graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Thierry joined Thomson-CSF, in the 70's as Research and Development Engineer for advanced EW (Electronic Warfare) systems.
Through the 80's, he was manager of the French SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) aircraft program for Thomson-CSF as prime contractor In the 90's, Thierry held various positions including General Manager of Thomson-CSF Radar and Countermeasures Division Project Department, General Manager of the Mirage 2000-5 fighter programs (France, Taïwan, Qatar) for Thomson-CSF as co-prime with Dassault Aviation and SNECMA and General Manager of the "Airborne Programs and Systems" Strategic Business Unit.
After moving to Australia in early 2000 as Technical Director of ADI Limited Thierry was responsible for leading the development of ADI's science and technology base and from mid 2003 to end 2005 was appointed Managing Director of Thales Research and Technology - France, before joining Thales Air Systems Division.
