Denis Ranque and Olivier Houssin were in Portugal on 9 May, meeting officials from the Portuguese government and administration, local industry leaders, and the local management team and workforce.


Highlights of the visit included lunch at the French embassy, a meeting with the minister of transport and a staff meeting at Thales Portugal headquarters near Lisbon.

Denis Ranque and Olivier Houssin were met at Lisbon airport early in the morning by João Araújo, CEO of Thales Portugal, and several members of the local leadership team. The day began with a tour of Edisoft 1, a Portuguese defence contractor 30% owned by Thales Nederland.
