Thales Aerospace Beijing Co. Ltd. (TACN) provides sales and marketing, technical support and avionics maintenance to Chinese customers. Thales's Aerospace division in Beijing has also expanded its core business offering into in-flight entertainment (IFE). The entity has moved into a new facility located close to Airbus-CASC Huaou Centre, Boeing support facility and Air China.

TACN's business scope covers production, sales & marketing, repair, technical support, technology transfer and industrial purchasing, leasing and maintenance. The Airbus fleet avionics repair and IFE repair offerings have been set up with ATEC and Topbench capability. A leasing business also started, complete with "avionics by the hour" (ABTH) servics.

Thales Aerospace Beijing Co. Ltd. is also a production platform for avionics, IFE, hardware/software and the leasing/distribution of Thales products and technologies, along with other Thales commercial activities.
