Bruno is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris. He joined Thomson-CSF as an engineer in 1980.

In 1985 joined the Crotale project in Saudi Arabia. Since then he has worked on several other projects in France, the US and also in South Korea  before moving to Bagneux He has held many different positions within the group and its subsidiaries and worked in Saudi-Arabia, the USA and South Korea, where in 2000 he became Vice CEO of the Samsung-Thales joint venture company.

In March 2004 he was appointed Managing Director of the Missile Electronics Business Line.
