Jean-Luc Chevalier is 54 years old and has held the position of Vice President Finance of the Air Systems division since December 2006.

Graduated from ESSEC business school and a certified public accountant, he previously worked as a consultant and auditor for Coopans & Lybrand in France and Australia, where he undertook several missions in the fields of organisation, control and acquisitions.

He held several positions within the Group and was in charge of the following entities:

- Assistance and Services Division (DAS), Thomson Sintra ASM
- Security and Missile Systems BG
- Air Defence Business Group
- Avionics Business Group - Service Division
