Investing in our People – Investing in the Small Arms Sovereign Industrial Capability

Today is the first day of Thales’s three day Gun Design Course which is being delivered by Prof Paul Hazel from ADFA in our Lithgow innovation facility. The course will add to our internal training programs and further develop our Small Arms research, design and develop capabilities and capacity. With over 30 attendees, including our R&T colleagues from Australian Munitions and our academic and research partners from a number of universities - together the team are a major component of the Munitions and Small Arms Sovereign Industrial Capability. The course builds on our century of heritage delivering for Defence and the Australian Army.
