    • Establish, develop and direct the engineering disciplines within a functional structure and provide the team with an enabling, challenging, and rewarding environment.
    • Foster a culture of innovation evidenced through the development and management of an Intellectual Property Plan, and the volume of patent and trade secrets produced.
    • Identify and Manage skills gaps based on the TCDS business strategy.
    • Oversee and contribute to hiring, contingents, on boarding, and People Review
    • Provide the tools, processes, and Engineering Environment to the System Engineering team.
    • Perform resource forecasting and levelling across the System Engineering Department. Provide a conduit to state-of-the art engineering expertise and facilities.
    • Interface with Corporate engineering for guidance on establishing exceptions to Corporate Engineering direction.
    • Promulgate Thales 10 golden rules of engineering competitiveness.
    • Manage the optimal implementation of DDQS, consult with the CPO, and develop local referentials as required,
    • Establish Ambition Boost objectives, initiatives, and plans.
    • Manage and control technical quality issues.
    • Ensure that the work and products of the engineering department is in compliance with necessary standards and regulations.

     

     

    Key Skills and Experiences:

    • Must have experience related to the responsibilities listed above along
    • At least 10 years’ experience in a senior engineering management role with a proven history in system integration, product development, and software development.
