Thales’s Industry Engagement Unit (IEU) is a dedicated specialist team that works closely with the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) to facilitate opportunities for Australian defence industry in Thales’s global supply chains.
The IEU is based in Australia, with team members in the United Kingdom and France providing comprehensive local support in target markets.
Key IEU tasks include:
The Mulwala Community Safety Website provides information to the local Mulwala community on the Thales Australia Mulwala Major Hazard Facility (MHF) and what the community should do in the extremely unlikely event of a major accident at the facility.
- It has been agreed between the Australian Department of Defence and Thales to extend the Small Arms Acessories Expression of Interest repsonse period by two weeks to 14 February 2014. EOI respondents will be issued the Request for Tender on its release in the first quarter of 2014.
Thales Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for the provision of small arms accessories for an ongoing Australian Department of Defence procurement program.
Thales will commence small arms accessories product analysis and testing in early 2014 under their current Land 125 Ph3C contract. This will include a Request For Tender (RFT) process led by Thales and concluding in tender-quality information being reported by Thales to enable Department of Defence decision-making.
