On the last Friday of October, we welcomed 20 dual students from the DHBW's business administration and industry course to our Ditzingen site.

After the welcoming speech by our training manager Jürgen Dollmann, in which he introduced the company and the training concept of Thales the students where introduced to the controlling, materials management and marketing of Thales. In addition, dual student Oliver Schulz, who is currently doing his internship abroad at the Thales headquarters in Paris, gave the visitors a unique impressions from the French capital.

After the theoretical part of the excursion, the practical part started with a visit of the facilities of Digital Identity & Security, where the students were introduced to the process of personalising credit cards, and furthermore visited the laboratory of the transport department and were shown how relay-based, electronic and the latest digital interlocking systems work.
