Thales has been present in Vietnam since the early 1990s, serving the civil and defence markets. In Aerospace, Thales has provided leading air traffic management systems to the Vietnamese authorities and Thales’s In-Flight Entertainment systems are installed aboard Vietnam Airlines’ new fleet of Airbus A350 and Boeing B787 aircraft. Thales has also forged a solid reputation in cooperating with the local defence industry through transfer of know-how and technology, training and services.
