- Thales carried out the extension of the Jordanian TETRA communication network which aims to provide Jordan Armed Forces, Public Safety, Police Security Agencies and the Civil Defence with a reliable, secure and easy-to-use communication system.
- Thales has provided 4 I-Master radars to the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
In 2012, the Jordanian government renewed its confidence in Thales by awarding the Group the extension of the nationwide TETRA communication network. With more than 160 base stations and 30,000 users, the fully distributed new TETRA network is in operation. In May 2013, Thales was selected to implement an LTE pilot which is fully integrated with the existing TETRA technology.
Thales has a long-term relationship with the (Royal Jordanian Air Force) through several projects. For instance in 2015, Thales has provided 4 I-Master radars to be integrated in the C-295 gunship.
