Overview
In 2012, the Jordanian government renewed its confidence in Thales by awarding the Group the extension of the nationwide TETRA communication network. With more than 160 base stations and 30,000 users, the fully distributed new TETRA network is in operation. In May 2013, Thales was selected to implement an LTE pilot which is fully integrated with the existing TETRA technology.
Thales has a long-term relationship with the (Royal Jordanian Air Force) through several projects. For instance in 2015, Thales has provided 4 I-Master radars to be integrated in the C-295 gunship.

Overview
Thales is also part of the Microsoft initiative to set up a National Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), for the Jordan ministry of interior. The PKI platform is the trusted environment that enables public agencies to offer e-government services to Jordanian citizens.
