The Thales Solidarity programme facilitates employee engagement by offering different ways of getting involved via its online engagement platform. The programme aims to meet the needs of partner organisations by connecting them with employees who wish to contribute their knowledge, expertise, time, generosity or simply their energy.
Each year, Thales Solidarity launches a call for projects to support employee engagement by providing funding for their initiatives. The call for projects is open to employees in all Thales entities worldwide and encourages staff to become involved in the local communities in the countries where Thales does business, in line with the objectives of the Thales Solidarity programme.

Programme projects need volunteers. Employees are encouraged to participate by volunteering their personal and professional skills through various missions of general interest.
Employees in France can enrol in Thales's payroll giving programme to donate a few cents or euros from their each month to one of several charity projects. Thales matches their donations, and it all adds up to make a big impact. The programme has collected nearly €1,4 millions since it was launched in 2016, with nearly €360,000 collected in 2020, thanks to 4 500 employee donors.
