Representation of women and men in the leadership positions
Publication of representation of women and men in the leadership positions in French companies with at least 1,000 employees, for the year 2021
In accordance with the provisions of the Law aimed at accelerating economic and professional equality of December 24, 2021, Thales publishes, for the first year, the representation of women and men, within the Governing Bodies and Senior Executives, for the year 2021.
Governing Bodies (Article L.23-12-1 of the French Commercial Code*):
Thales Services Numériques SAS Executive Committee consists of 35% of women and 65% of men.
The others French companies of the Group, which are subject, due to their workforce, to the provisions of the Law, aimed at accelerating economic and professional equality of December 24, 2021 do not have a dedicated governing body. However, these companies belong to global business units that have an executive committee whose gender balance is monitored by objectives set at Group level.
In 2016, Thales committed to strengthen the diversity of all its Executive Committees by setting a goal of reaching 75% of Executive Committees with at least 3 women by 2023 (compared to 27% at the end of 2016).
This objective was reached in June 2022 and Thales has set itself new ambitions by setting a target of having 75% of executive committees with at least 4 women by 2026.
Senior Executives (Article L.3111-2 of the French Labour Code**):
Thales Global Services SAS: 27,7% women and 72,3% men
Thales Services Numériques SAS: 18,2% women and 81,8% men
Thales DIS France SAS: 18% women and 82% men
Thales AVS France SAS: 16,1% women and 83,9% men
Thales LAS France SAS: 15,5% women and 84,5% men

Thales DMS France SAS: 13,4% women and 86,6% men
Thales Alenia Space France: has 13,4% women and 86,6% men
With 28% women in its workforce, Thales is committed to an active approach to promoted women at the highest levels of the organization since 2016, and has set a target of 20% women in levels of responsibility (NR) 10, 11 and 12*** by 2023.
At the end of June 2022, women represented 18.9% of NR 10 to 12 employees (vs. 14.7% in 2016). Thales has strengthened its objectives for the period 2024-2026 by setting the ambition to reach 22.5% of women in these levels.
