Thales Indonesia will participate in the IndoDefence defense and security exhibition taking place in Jakarta from November 2 to 5 2022. This exhibition is reopening after a four-year hiatus related to covid. 

Thales Indonesia has been in the spotlight in 2021-2022 with the signing of major contracts such as the 6 Rafales and 13 GM403 (GCI) radars ordered by the Indonesian Air Force, as well as the first ForceShield multi-year maintenance contract signed with the Indonesian Army. The IndoDefence exhibition will be an opportunity for Thales to increase its visibility in modernizing Indonesian defense equipment and to position itself for other projects in naval, space and digital. 

With Indonesia’s booming economy and fast-paced digital transition, Thales is also seeking to assert itself as a growing player in cyber security and the digitization of the Armed Forces. 

During IndoDefence Thales will demonstrate its of industrial cooperation ambitions with the DEFEND ID defense consortium. In partnership with national Key Industrial Partners such as PT LEN and partners from the private sector, Thales seeks to contribute to the development of the local defense industry while securing long-term strategic military projects. 

The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto and many Indonesian political and military figures will be attended the IndoDefence exhibition. The Thales Indonesia team is fully mobilized and committed to making a success of this event.
