The Army Aviation Association of America’s (AAAA) 2026 Army Aviation Warfighting Summit provides a forum to share insights, explore emerging technologies, and align on priorities that are shaping the future of the sector. It will bring together a broad mix of Army aviators, both active duty and reserve, as well as the National Guard, Special Operations, MEDEVAC, industry, academia, and military families – all focused on addressing the most pressing challenges that aviators are facing both in the air and in daily military life.
Agile, Adaptive, Lethal: Supporting Continuous Transformation for Army Aviation
Thales supports agile, adaptive and lethal Army aviation operations with advanced connectivity solutions and technologies for enhanced pilot situational awareness – helping aircrews maintain a decisive edge across missions and adapt seamlessly as requirements continuously transform.
Visit our Connectivity and Communications Zone at the Thales booth, #2432, where we will display our narrow and wide-band satcom offerings, including Thales’ ruggedized AVIATOR® Satcom solutions, the Aero Blade SOLO, the Milli Sat H LW, and the Modem 21 Air Compact, -- an optimal solution for helicopter platforms as it overcomes typical roto-blade interference.
In our Pilot Situational Awareness Zone, we'll showcase our rigorously tested rotorcraft solutions that deliver adaptable, interoperable technologies to support mission readiness and future capabilities for the evolving battlefield. These solutions reflect our commitment to advancing Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA). Through a range of navigation solutions providing GPS, GNSS and Inertia navigation, Thales is supporting the Army’s need for MOSA-compliant technologies.
Visit our booth to explore TopAxyz, TopShield, TopStar M, and Thales’ next-generation multi-function threat warning system, Elix IR.

With thousands of Helmet Mounted Displays (HMDs) in the field and more than 40 years of experience, Thales is a global leader in the development and advancement of HMDs that improve aviators’ vision for critical decisions, helping to ensure mission success. Both the Scorpion and WASP HMDs redefine pilot situational awareness by seamlessly integrating critical flight and targeting information directly into the pilot’s line of sight for enhanced mission effectiveness and safety.
The Future of Military Rotorcraft is Now
Thales’ AS350 Demonstration Helicopter will be conducting demonstration flights at a nearby off-site location during the 2026 Army Aviation Warfighting Summit. Priority for demonstration flights and capability evaluations will be given to our Army customers and strategic partners during select hours on Tuesday, April 12 through Thursday, April 14. Equipped to demonstrate MOSA-compliant technologies in real-time, the helicopter is prepared to demonstrate several capabilities and solutions in flight, including Compact Autopilot, TopAxyz INS, FlytX, FMS200, TopStar M, Synthetic Vision, and the Scorpion and WASP HMDs. Space is limited, so complete our form and a Thales representative will be in contact.
