Conrad Bellehumeur is Vice President, Marketing, Thales North America. Prior to this appointment in September 2017, Mr. Bellehumeur was Vice President, Marketing and Communications for Thales Canada Inc and Urban rail signalling. Before that, he was Head of Communications of Thales’ Land & Air Systems Global Business Unit based in Paris, where he led the communications and marketing efforts of five business lines across 16 countries.
Mr. Bellehumeur has developed communications and marketing strategies for Canadian companies and government agencies, including NAV CANADA, Transportation Safety Board of Canada, Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Agriculture Canada, and National Defence that are aligned with corporate objectives and deliver measurable results. Mr. Bellehumeur is a skilled crisis and issues manager with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence and leverage business teams, trade associations and influence public policy.
Mr. Bellehumeur joined Thales in 2008 as Vice President, Communications and Government Relations. Prior to joining Thales he was Chief of Staff to a Federal Cabinet Minister. Mr. Bellehumeur served 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Public Affairs Officer, where he held various communications functions within National Defence Headquarters, and in the Former-Yugoslavia with the United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Mr Bellehumeur graduated from the College militaire royal de Saint-Jean with a Bachelor of Social Science. He also has a post-graduate certificate from Ryerson University in Public Affairs.
