High revisit radar (HRR)
© Thales Alenia Space
Next-generation lightweight SAR satellite (~200 kg) combines state-of-the-art radar performance with a compact, cost-effective design.
Currently in development as part of the Italian Earth Observation constellation “IRIDE”, HRR features the full range of radar typical imaging modes (Spotlight, Stripmap, Scansar) and can capture up to 100 images per day.
Ideally suited for constellation deployment, HRR enables scalable and responsive coverage, with enhanced revisit rates, offering a persistent all-weather, day-and-night monitoring for defense, intelligence and environmental applications.

Next-generation lightweight optical satellite (~200 kg) delivers flight-proven, high-resolution imagery and is designed for cost-effective launches and extended operational lifespan. Built on over 40 years of space systems expertise, HREV features a modular, flexible architecture and large acquisition modes capability (Spotlight, Stripmap, Bi-Stereo & Multi-Stereo, Surface, Border following). It can collect up to 2500 images per day.
Ideally suited for constellation deployment, enables scalable, responsive coverage with enhanced revisit rates, offering persistent monitoring to support defense, intelligence and environmental applications.
