Multimodal identification solution used
to strengthen security features to deter both impersonisation and
counterfeiting of ID documents

• One of the
building blocks of identity solution

• Multi
modal biometrics secured solution

• Identification
system: from data acquisition through matching to control

• Manage large scale population

• Support
control at sensitive points (border, buildings, corporate...)

• Capacity
to plug-in within any e-government system

• Based on
a unique open and configurable architecture

• Architecture
designed to merge through fusion multiple biometric identification technologies

• Modular
biometrics workflow management

• Biometric
identification: 1 secured ID document delivered for 1 citizen

Authentication: guarantees that the holder is the legitimate owner

TAMMIS, the Thales Automated Multi-Modal Identification System, is designed to:

- guarantee the uniqueness of the identity, one record and one secure ID credential per individual (ID document, access badge, etc.). Biometric Identification (1:N) ensures that an there is only one secure ID credential delivered for one citizen.

- guarantee that an individual presenting a secure ID credential has the absolute right to use the credential. Authentication/Verification (1:1) permits to identify that the ID holder is the legitimate owner with the rights, privileges and responsibilities.

- support control at sensitive points (borders, buildings, blacklist management, etc.)

TAMMIS is based on a unique open and configurable architecture designed to merge through fusion multiple biometric identification technologies (fingerprints, iris, face, vein patterns, etc.), which can be selected according to the specific requirements of each customer.

Key features: Multi Modal
Biometrics Identification Solution

Proprietary biometrics fingerprint technology (benchmarked by NIST)

• Service
oriented architecture

• Supported
norms (ISO/IEC and INCITS)
