Thales Canada’s Student Innovation Championship is an annual competition designed to challenge university students to tackle problems in the industry, giving them insight into the problems companies face every day.

Students are asked to present an innovative solution that solves a theoretical customer challenge, create a 15 minute presentation and then pitch the idea to industry representatives. The winning team will receive $20,000, the second place team will receive $10,000 and the third place team will receive $5,000.

This year, the topic will be Artificial Intelligence; the competition is open to graduate students.
