Should you consider an apprenticeship?

Whether you are currently at school, starting out in your career or well established in the working world, it may surprise you to know that there are a huge range of exciting apprenticeship opportunities available in the UK. From business to engineering programmes, there are lots of options to choose from, depending on your goals and interests.

These days, going to university isn’t for everyone. Although there are many positives to studying for a degree full-time, it doesn’t always offer the real world experience that an apprenticeship, by comparison, can provide. Added to this, it’s a common misconception that apprenticeships are just for people in their late teens. It does not, in fact, matter how far into your career you are; there are still programmes available that can take you on the next step to where you want to be, regardless of your age and experience.

We have over 220 apprentices at Thales in the UK alone and their roles, experience and programmes vary significantly. Learn about just some of their stories by clicking on the profiles below.
