Thales Cyber and Consulting (TC&C) has won the Consulting Excellence Award for Professional Development at the annual Management Consultancies Association (MCA) industry awards last week. The MCA is the representative body for management consultancy firms in the UK.

The award comes as a result of TC&C’s Consulting Development Programme (CDP), which has been created and rolled out across the organisation over the last 2 years. The CDP is an on-going development initiative to improve consulting behaviours, skills and methods, aligned to both the Thales leadership model and to the MCA’s principles of Consulting Excellence.

Now in their 21st year, the MCA Awards, which took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, are considered to be the benchmark for quality within the UK consulting industry, demonstrating and recognising great consultancy work.

The award was accepted by Pete Hoddinott, Director Thales Cyber & Consulting, Will Butcher, HR Director and Caroline Griffiths, Learning Consultant. Pete Hoddinott, Director TC&C, said:

“This prestigious award has come as a result of our hard work across TC&C over the last 2 years to develop, implement and refine the Consulting Development Programme. It shows that the MCA recognise the investment we are making to develop our consultants.”

This was the first year that TC&C has entered submissions for consideration for the awards, being nominated in four award categories. The other three categories were: Digital & Technology – for work with Jaguar Land Rover; Young Consultant of the Year – Frances Holmes, Business Analysis & Change Consultant; and Best New Consultancy.
