The NCSC – part of GCHQ – has now granted our Cyber and Consulting business the impressive status of ‘Certified Consultancy’ across three separate fields of expertise.

This validation from the UK’s national authority on cyber security means Thales is permitted to deliver a wide and complex range of cyber security consultancy services to Government, Critical National Infrastructure customers and the wider public sector.

The NCSC was set up in 2016 to help protect UK critical services from cyber-attacks, manage major incidents, and improve the underlying security of the UK Internet through technological improvement and advice to citizens and organisations.

NCSC supports the most critical organisations in the UK, the wider public sector, industry and SMEs.

Our three NCSC certified fields are Risk Assessment, Risk Management and Audit & Review There are now only five other large organisations in the UK that are certified to offer three services out of the NCSC’s maximum of four. The fourth is Architecture.

Alex Tarter, Chief Cyber Consultant, for Thales’s UK Cyber & Consulting business, says:

“This is a very impressive credential for us. It validates the expertise of our organisation in these fields and shows that we’re seen to offer a high level of service.
“It’s a mark that enables UK Government & Critical National Infrastructure customers to know we’re the real-deal.
“Consultancies who become certified have proof that the services they deliver meet the NCSC’s standard for high quality, tailored cyber security advice.”
