A week of Radiology Innovation in Chicago!

At the beginning of December 2019, Thales Microwave and Imaging Sub-systems (MIS) was in Chicago attending the RSNA Tradeshow as well as hosting a customer event!

At the RSNA 2019 we got to exchange with customers from around the world in our dedicated meeting rooms and discuss our most innovative technologies in radiology including our future Pixium© Portable EZ 2 HD 4343 and Pixium© Portable and flexible EZ3 detectors.

With the large presence of radiology specialists attending the RSNA Tradeshow, Thales took the opportunity to hold the 3rd Radiology Community Leaders Forum at the Art Institute of Chicago! Over 120 radiology specialists from across the domain were present at this event, both customers and healthcare professionals.

The topic of the evening was ‘Connectivity and Digital Technologies in Radiology’. Alan Pellegrini, CEO of Thales USA presented Thales's digital transformation and strengths on the 4 key digital pillars: AI (Artificial Intelligence), Cyber-security, IOT (Internet of Things) and Big Data as well as synergies with our healthcare activity.

Sebastien Gorges, Head of Radiology Technical Direction and Camille Vigier, Radiology Product Line Manager at MIS, presented our new digital technologies such as our MVP (Minimum Viable Product) which allows for predictive maintenance of radiology systems through the use of IOT.

Following the plenary session, Thales displayed its latest innovations in a marketplace – consisting of more than 20 demonstrations of our new Efficiency Range of X-Ray detectors, our Artpix DRF Imaging Solution, the Connected Radiology Platform and our advancements in Cyber-security.

The positive feedback we received from our customers helps us continue innovating and developing our solutions to best meet their needs!. A big thanks goes out to everyone who helped to make this week such a great success!
