Thales supports careers in STEM
STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
Here at Thales we have our sights firmly set not only on developing tomorrow’s innovations in the markets we serve, but also on developing tomorrows engineering talent.
The aim is to give young people the skills and knowledge needed to make an informed decision about their educational choices, and also their future career options.
Whilst our objectives are to encourage young people, from all backgrounds, to learn about STEM subjects and their importance in society, we are equally passionate about showing that studying STEM subjects is fun, creative and empowering by showing young people new ideas and concepts.
We couldn’t do this without the support of a varied cross-section of our employees who are keen to get involved.
This is how we are engaging with tomorrow’s engineering talent! Take a closer look at some our STEM initiatives below, and meet some of the people involved to get their story about what it’s like to be committed to STEM.
STEM stands for - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Quite simply, tomorrow’s innovations depend upon today’s young people choosing and continuing to study STEM-related subjects.
