Thales and Egis sign a MoU in Asia Pacific

Further to the Letter of Intent signed between Thales and Egis 2 months ago, the two companies are pleased to announce the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding confirming their regional cooperation in Transport activities. 

In Asia, Thales delivers integrated communications & supervision solutions such as Operations Control Centers, telecoms, security, passenger’s information solutions, signalling and ticketing solutions. 

Egis, through its regional expertise in eco urban and intercity transportation infrastructure design and engineering consultation services, aims to provide systems design integration in cooperation with Thales, among other topics.

Thales and Egis already share a common project, which is the MMSP, Metro Manila Subway ongoing project in Philippines wherein Thales provides telecom, security, passenger’s information and fare collection systems (AFC). Egis delivers overall integration and the Platform screen doors turnkey.
