    JOB OBJECTIVE
    • Ensure the integration of the ICT and Security systems package at Bahrain airport including Airport Operation, Security and Telecommunication System.
    • Ensure the integration of the Systems provided by other Contractors ( BHS, BMS, Fire Detection etc )


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Define, review, obtain approval and implement the project integration plan.
    • Support Engineering Manager (EM) and Program Manager (PM) to develop, integrate and consolidate “Customer Requirements” and “System Requirements”.
    • Collaborate with EM and Sub-Systems Lead Engineers to define the System Requirements Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures and Use Cases both in the operations and security domain.
    • Manage the definition of the Operational Scenarios for the overall System including the interaction with 3rd parties and airports stake holders.
    • Define the Interface Management Plan including external Interfaces for the overall System and the internal interfaces between Sub-Systems.
    • Manage and ensure the production of all interface documents for the overall System and the internal interfaces between Sub-Systems (ICD, P2P, E2E, Use Cases etc.).
    • Monitor the relationship with third parties involved in the Project and establish the process and media of communication with third parties to ensure acceptable outcomes for system interface design and implementation.
    • On the basis of the System Requirements Specifications and Operational Scenarios define the overall Integration Verification and Test Plans such as the Integration & Verification Plan and the Test Procedure Specifications including FAT, IFAT, SAT and ISAT.
    • Prepare and conduct test procedures (FAT and SAT) and support the Operational Department during Commissioning and Delivery Phases with specific focus on operational scenarios.
    • Define and manage the implementation of the a Test Platform for system integration and testing prior to connection to live systems.

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A CCTV LEAD ENGINEER TO JOIN THE THALES TEAM IN MANAMA, BAHRAIN.

     

     

    JOB OBJECTIVE: Perform all necessary engineering activities to allow the delivery of assigned the CCTV Systems including integration with related systems, within the program milestones, in conformance with specifications and within budget.

     

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES In close coordination with the System Engineering Manager, Project Engineering Manager, the Project Manager and the other team members, he will be responsible for all the activities relevant to the CCTV system, ensuring the predefined results on time, within the budget and with the expected level of Quality.

    The Lead Engineer will:

    ·         Analyze the Technical Project Scope of Works relevant to the CCTV system (scope, technical issues and risk assumptions);

    ·         Conduct and perform design for the CCTV system, applying technical guidelines and principles communicated by the System Engineering Manager;

    ·         Ensure production of adequate documentation and design with relevant Bill of Quantities for all needed materials and spare parts;

    ·         Prepare the technical part of the Requests for Quotations for each material/service (including technical onsite activities) to be purchased, in accordance with Company guidelines;

    ·         Produce technical procedures, manuals (installation procedures, FAT procedure, commissioning procedure ) and define the test instruments  to be used on site;

    ·         Establish internal targets in line with contractual technical requirement and Company expectations, as communicated by System Engineering Manager and Project Manager;

    ·         Manage all the activities concerning potential technical Variations of Scope of Work

    ·         Manage and co-ordinate his activities with the other System Engineers involved, to Ensure the integration with OCC and the other subsystems;

    ·         Support Integration Manager in all integration aspects and issues ensuring appropriate co-ordination;

    ·         Place requests through Interface Manager for all required information from other Contractors, and provide answers to the Interface Manager for queries from Customer and/or other Contractors;

    ·         Conduct the Factory Acceptance Tests with the support of QA/QC, after coordination with Logistic Manager;

    ·         Co-ordinate with Logistics after Factory Acceptance Tests for associated shipments;

    ·         Prepare the training program for the Customer;

    ·         Ensure adequate technical support to on site activities (which include also specific missions on site, when necessary, for start up, supervision, commissioning and closer support);

    ·         Participate to Project Meetings (internal and external: with the Customer, subcontractors and other entities) when scheduled and/or requested.

     

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in the design and engineering of CCTV systems in the Airport domain. Appreciated experience also in some of the following system, ACS, PIDS,  and Communication Technologies (LAN / WAN, SDH, Radio Systems, PABX ) in the critical infrastructure protection domain.

    Au sein du service Développement des Applications et Produits, vous êtes amené(e) à visionner, sélectionner et annoter des séquences vidéo en vue de tests de solutions de traitement d’images pour les systèmes de vidéo protection (Vidéo Surveillance).

    A ce titre, vous devrez :
    • Visualiser un grand nombre de séquences vidéo afin de les répertorier en fonction de leur contenu.
    • Vous familiariser avec les outils de visualisation et d’annotation des vidéos
    • Effectuer les annotations
    • Effectuer des tests
