Starting in February each year and spanning two years in duration, the Thales Graduate Program consists of a variety of learning modules in different locations nationally. These are structured training modules, as well as self-directed learning activities, and on-the-job training; giving you exposure to all the different areas of the business.
As part of the graduate development program, graduates will also have the opportunity to work in project teams and develop innovative solutions for business and customer related problems. The graduate program at Thales will see our graduates travel to various Thales Australia sites for the development modules.
Applications are now open for the 2024 Thales Graduate Program.

Talented people who can bring us the right mix of flexibility and innovation, analytical thinking and problem solving as well as communication skills and self-confidence. We look for graduates who step towards taking responsibility and who can bring us impressive business insights and/or technical prowess.
We look for a minimum credit average in your academic transcripts ideally with some work experience while you were studying (internships or paid work).
Step 1: Head to the Thales Graduate Connection page au.gradconnection.com/employers/thales/jobs to submit an application, or meet with us at a career fair or university event!
Step 2: We’ll have an initial phone conversation with you where we’ll see if we sound like the right fit for each other. We’ll talk about your university studies, any work experience you have and your interest in working for Thales!
Step 3: You will be invited to attend an assessment centre where you’ll learn more about Thales, including our culture and values, some group activities and an individual interview. In some instances, you may just be invited to attend an interview.
Step 5: If successful, we’ll conduct pre-employment checks (medical and police check) and then make an offer!
