FlightBooster is just one example of how we have successfully developed our unparalleled expertise in airborne computers. For over thirty years, we have developed advanced computers for both commercial and military aircraft and helicopters. Our involvement in A380 Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), one of the most advanced and efficient aircraft flying, showcases our broad capabilities and our dedication to assuring creativeand cost-effective solutions to meet the most stringent requirements.

Arinc 653 partitioned software operating environment allows the platform to run multiple applications concurrently. FlightBooster architecture provides significant benefits to a traditional bespoke avionics architecture, including reduced development costs, reduced weight, increased performance, lower acquisition and maintenance costs and reduced costs of change.

In a 4MCU size, FlightBooster Avionics & Mission Computer offers huge capability for future evolution, with potential for additional processing, memory and I/O modules.

Additional functions proposed by Thales include graphics and video processing, 2D/3D DigitalMapGenerator, Terrain Avoidance Warning System, Flight Management System. Due to its high processing performance and its modularity, FlightBooster is compatible with the new generation helicopters, both civil and military, and is an ideal candidate for helicopter upgrade operations.
