Thales is the designer of the NLES long loop station (Navigation Land Earth Station) which controls and overcomes the signal emitted by the geosynchronous satellites of the EGNOS constellation.

Thales has also designed the RIMS-A receiver (Receiver Integrity Monitoring Station) of the EGNOS program. This ground station, specialized in the monitoring of the EGNOS satellites signals, which is the outcome of EURIDIS research project, satisfies severe accuracy, integrity and testability requirements and constitutes the multi-constellation experience (EGNOS, GPS and GLONASS) of Thales.

In the EGNOS User segment, Thales has developed the EGNOS Test Bed receiver based on TOPSTAR 200 standalone receiver hardware and with a specific software able to process EGNOS and/or WAAS signals and their associated data.

3 segments:
- RIMS-A receivers
- Test user equipment
- AS-F stations

Status:
Manufacturing of 56 RIMS
- 38 receivers
- 10 RIMS for TUE, including computers
- 6 AS-F stations
