Innovative approach
Thales’ Trinity is the first solution that enables small naval craft in the littoral domain to operate with a completely integrated combat system. Trinity provides the complete package: from situational awareness, communication, mission planning, evidence gathering to act with a highly accurate fire control. Based on an innovative building block approach, Trinity ensures high performance, full integration and remote control of up to three on-board guns simultaneously, at a cost level directly in line with the related platform.
Lean and effective
Trinity combines modern off-the-shelf maritime surveillance components with a dedicated and very effective Thales Fire Control solution. The dynamic fire control solution allows the vessel to acquire and track any (fast or slow) moving surface target well beyond the maximum range of the associated gun. This enables engagement of the target at maximum range with a single salvo, even when the vessel is manoeuvring itself.
Easy to install
Trinity is easy to install on any type of littoral mission vessel, varying from small go-fasts up to OPV-size vessels. This allows maritime safety, security and defence forces to introduce sensors for surveillance, observation, identification and tracking; effectors with fully stabilised fire control and integrated command and control (including communication and navigation support). Even on those platforms that previously were operated with only basic mission equipment such as a manually-operated machine gun. This way, individual maritime elements become effective fleet units, highly resistant against the ever-changing surface threat.
