Digitalisation has many faces. The smartphone is the incarnation of this trend in the private sphere, while this involves the countless websites used for sampling, selecting and ordering in the sphere of customer business. Rail transport companies (RTC) have also utilised this type of customer approach for years. But can digitalisation also enter the sensitive area of safety technology? We would like to show that this is not only possible under certain conditions, but that it can even be advantageous for all those involved!
