Business informatics combines economics and computer science. Examples of the diverse fields of application of business informatics specialists are the development of modern information systems, the optimization of complex business processes or the management of large projects.

As a Bachelor of Science - Business Information Technology (IMBIT), you will master both current IT technologies and modern business management methods. You develop information and communication systems, implement them and support them. Thanks to your comprehensive qualification, you can quickly take on responsible tasks and be deployed in a variety of ways, e.g. as a link between the IT area and the specialist department.

What qualifications do you need to have?

• General higher education entrance qualification ("A levels") or corresponding subject-linked higher education entrance qualification
• Basic understanding of mathematics and the natural sciences
• Pronounced logical-analytical thinking
• Ability to abstract and to recognise and formulate technical correlations
• confident handling of computers and modern software
• Good knowledge of German (C1 level) and English
