Haven’t heard of Project Arduino? Where have you been!

Project Arduino is our global university competition which helps us to engage with engineering and computer science students in a fun and interactive way. After students attend a workshop with is where they learn to use an Arduino (an open-source electronics prototyping platform), we challenge them to build a new and innovative solution or product that fits into one of Thales’s five markets (Aerospace, Space, Transportation, Defence and Security).

This year Project Arduino is bigger than ever before, 47 universities across France, Singapore, UK, USA, Netherlands, China and Hong Kong have been participating in the competition. A winning team has been chosen from each of the universities participating and from those, one team per region has been selected to represent their country in the global final.
The public vote will help us decide who will be crowned the global winners of Project Arduino, only one team and one country will win! The global winners will get the opportunity to visit a Thales Research Centre in one of the regions participating in the competition.
