Defence
Thales has a leading position in Thailand’s naval defence sector with the supplement of combat management systems, radars, sonars and communications systems to the Royal Thai Navy’s frigates, corvettes, and patrol vessels. Thales equips the Army with StarStreak missiles and C5I systems for vehicles, supplies Catherine cameras for tanks, and provides soldier optronics. Strong local partnerships ensure effective support and technology transfer.

Civil Aviation
Thales has supported AEROTHAI for decades, modernising Thailand’s Air Traffic Management with the world’s first fully integrated system. As a long-term partner, Thales has continuously provided solutions that ensure the safety of Thai airspace, including equipping eight major airports with radars, navigation, and landing systems. Thales also supplies avionics onboard Thai Airways fleets, and supplies Thales inflight entertainment systems on its A350 aircraft with full maintenance support.
Cyber & Digital
Thales is a major player in Thai biometrics, providing e-ID components, police biometric solutions, and producing the most secure e-passport since 2019. The holistic solution also includes passport enrolment sites with over 500 biometric booths and two production sites. Thales also delivers cybersecurity services to government, banks and telecommunications providers as Thailand advances its digital future.

Thales Alenia Space provides satellites, ground segments, and end-to-end systems for telecoms, navigation, earth observation, science, and exploration in military and civilian sectors. In Thailand, Thales supplied two communication satellites delivering television and internet services across Asia-Pacific.
