What can you expect in this profession?
Without embedded systems, real-time applications would not be possible - neither in the small smart device nor in the large autonomous vehicle. Whenever a computer system consisting of hardware and software components is "embedded" in a comprehensive technical product, we are dealing with this cross-sectional technology. A variety of knowledge domains are relevant to the development of embedded systems, including primarily electrical engineering and computer science, but also other technical disciplines such as (micro-)mechanics and safety engineering, as well as business administration and social science topics.
The Bachelor of Engineering Embedded Systems - General Engineering degree program combines the basic building blocks of our business activities and therefore has a very high priority at Thales Deutschland.
