Axel Schlatter is an accomplished finance professional with a diverse background in the corporate sector. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at Thales Deutschland in Ditzingen since January 2023, he has made significant contributions to the organization's financial management and strategic decision-making.
Prior to his current position, Axel held the position of Director Controlling at Thales Deutschland from November 2018 to December 2022, where he exhibited exceptional leadership and expertise in financial management. From October 2014 to October 2018, he served as the Director of Finance & Controlling CBU SIX at Thales Deutschland, further honing his skills and contributing to the organization's success.
Axel's journey in the finance industry began in July 2012 when he joined Thales Deutschland as a Controlling Manager. In this role, he demonstrated a strong aptitude for financial analysis and decision-making. Before joining Thales Deutschland, he gained valuable experience as an Audit Manager and Certified Auditor at Deloitte.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Executive Master of Accounting and Taxation (EMAT) from Mannheim Business School.
